Responsibilities

• Own the full sales cycle from first outbound touch through close, renewal, and expansion — managing complex, multi-stakeholder deals with technical and economic buyers.
• Develop and execute a territory strategy that identifies high-value target accounts in voice AI, adjacent AI-native startups, and enterprise innovation teams, and proactively create demand where none yet exists.
• Run deeply consultative discovery with technical audiences (engineering, product, ML, infrastructure), uncovering latency, accuracy, scalability, and cost tradeoffs — and mapping company's differentiated performance to those needs.
• Partner closely with Sales Engineers to design and guide technical evaluations, proof-of-concepts, and benchmarking exercises that clearly demonstrate measurable performance gains over alternatives.
• Drive competitive displacement motions by understanding incumbent providers (cloud hyperscalers, legacy STT vendors, in-house builds) and positioning client's advantages around speed, accuracy, customization, and total cost of ownership.
• Forecast accurately and consistently, maintaining pipeline hygiene and deal visibility while proactively identifying risk and mitigation strategies.
• Negotiate commercial agreements that balance customer needs with company margin and long-term expansion opportunity.
• Collaborate with Marketing on messaging feedback loops — surfacing real buyer objections, competitive trends, and emerging use cases to inform campaigns and positioning.
• Work with Sales Ops to refine process, reporting, and territory alignment, contributing to the maturation of the GTM engine.
• Partner with Customer Success to ensure successful onboarding, adoption, and expansion — treating initial deals as the beginning of long-term revenue growth, not the end of a transaction.
• Continuously build industry insight in voice AI, speech-to-text, text-to-speech, and real-time conversational systems.
