Digital Content Producer
Role: Digital Content Producer
Location: London Bridge, Hybrid, 2 days per week
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: 35 hours per week
Salary: £38,952 per annum (Inclusive of London supplement)
We’re looking for a Digital Content Producer with a creative eye, a flair for storytelling and the skills to produce content that stands out. From capturing powerful moments on camera to creating digital content that drives meaningful engagement, you’ll play a key role in shaping the Royal British Legion's social media channels.
You’ll work across a varied mix of projects, from the Poppy Appeal and major national commemorative events to the stories, people and activities behind our work throughout the year. No two projects will be quite the same, and you’ll have the opportunity to bring your own creative ideas, experiment with different formats and see your work reach audiences across the UK.
Come and be part of the leading Armed Forces charity, making a difference to the lives of those who have served to keep us safe and protect our way of life.
We’re after someone who loves making content as much as coming up with the ideas behind it. You’ll take projects from initial concept through to the finished piece, whether that means planning a shoot, getting behind the camera, editing video or writing sharp, engaging copy for social media and web. You’ll create content for Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and LinkedIn, working closely with colleagues and contributors to find interesting angles and bring stories to life. You’ll also have a good understanding of what makes content perform, using audience insights and platform trends to inform your approach rather than simply producing more of the same.
You’ll already have experience creating digital content in a professional communications environment, with strong filming, video editing and copywriting skills, and confidence using Adobe Creative Suite and Canva. We’re particularly interested in someone who can spot a good story, knows how to tailor content for different platforms and is comfortable juggling shoots, creative briefs and competing deadlines.
You’ll be proactive, organised and confident working with a wide range of people, with the creative judgement to know when an idea needs refining and when it’s ready to go. If you’re looking for a role that offers genuine creative variety, high-profile campaigns and the chance to take ownership of content from start to finish, we’d love to hear from you.
