Digital Marketing Senior Executive

Blue Legal are partnering with a leading international law firm who are recruiting for a Digital Marketing Senior Executive to join their London office. This is a stand-alone specialist role responsible for the day-to-day delivery of digital marketing, managing the firm’s website, leading SEO activity and driving forward digital projects to improve online visibility and performance. The role will work closely with the Head of Marketing Operations & Digital and wider Marketing & Business Development teams across the firm’s international offices.

The Responsibilities

· Manage the firm’s website using WordPress, publishing and updating content, managing user access and coordinating maintenance, fixes and improvements with the digital agency.

· Take ownership of the digital marketing roadmap, translating agreed priorities into practical delivery and leading website development projects, campaigns and initiatives.

· Lead SEO activity, including keyword research, redirects, link building and website optimisation, improving content structure, metadata, internal links and user journeys.

· Drive improvements in the firm’s visibility across search engines and AI tools through effective content optimisation and technical enhancements.

· Work with partners, BD teams and international offices to improve digital content, providing guidance on website best practice, search performance and AI discoverability.

· Manage relationships with digital suppliers and coordinate due diligence for new platforms and services, working closely with IT, Cyber, Risk and Data Protection teams.

· Support website governance, cookies and consent management, ensuring digital platforms, forms, tracking and new functionality meet relevant privacy and security requirements.

· Analyse digital marketing performance using GA4 and Looker Studio, producing dashboards, reporting on results and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

· Support email marketing activity through Vuture, reviewing and approving campaigns, while working closely with Communications on social media performance and wider digital strategy.

· Coordinate projects across Marketing and Business Services, managing stakeholders, suppliers and dependencies to ensure projects are delivered effectively and on time.

The Candidate

· Proven digital marketing experience, ideally within a law firm or wider professional services environment.

· Strong experience managing corporate websites and content management systems, ideally WordPress, with a good understanding of website development and optimisation.

· Excellent knowledge of SEO, digital content strategy and emerging AI-driven search and discoverability.

· Experience managing digital projects, external agencies and suppliers, with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.

· Experience using GA4 and Looker Studio to analyse performance, produce reports and recommend improvements.

· Understanding of website governance, cookies, consent, data protection and digital security, with the judgement to involve relevant specialists when required.

· Experience with email marketing and CRM platforms, ideally Vuture and InterAction, alongside knowledge of social media and wider digital marketing best practice.

· Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to advise partners, senior stakeholders and international teams.

· Highly organised, proactive and detail-oriented, with the initiative to take ownership of a specialist digital marketing workstream.

· Basic HTML and CSS skills would be advantageous.
