We are now looking for a number of Electrical Commissioning Engineers-UPS Systems to join our UK team, supporting South East region.
In this role, you will provide expert service to Eaton customers by commissioning large UPS systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability in line with Eaton’s safety standards. You will play a key role supporting hyperscale data centres, delivering high-quality technical expertise across commissioning, testing and system configuration.

We are now looking for a number of Electrical Commissioning Engineers-UPS Systems to join our UK team, supporting South East region.
In this role, you will provide expert service to Eaton customers by commissioning large UPS systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability in line with Eaton’s safety standards. You will play a key role supporting hyperscale data centres, delivering high-quality technical expertise across commissioning, testing and system configuration.
What You’ll Do
- Commission large-scale UPS systems on customer sites
- Perform Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) to ensure successful installation and system performance
- Configure and deploy remote monitoring and diagnostic software
- Communicate technical information effectively with customers and key stakeholders
- Adhere to anti-static handling procedures and safety requirements
- Apply Engineering Change Notice (ECN) processes to all repair and service activities
- Educated to a HNC or higher in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or equivalent
- Previous experience in a Field Service role
- Three phase electrical installation or maintenance knowledge
- A good understanding of UPS systems is preferred
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Excellent communication skills with customers and technical teams
- Customer-focused approach and professionalism
- Ability to remain calm under pressure, especially during critical power outages
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
