Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm
We are recruiting an experienced ER / HR Adviser to join a well-established business operating within the food manufacturing sector.
This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional with strong employee relations experience to provide practical, consistent and legally compliant HR advice, supporting managers across the business and helping to develop their people management capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert advice on employee relations matters, including disciplinaries, grievances, absence, probation and performance management.
- Manage complex and sensitive HR cases, ensuring compliance with UK employment legislation and company policies.
- Coach and support managers on people management issues and best practice.
- Manage occupational health referrals, health surveillance and workplace adjustments.
- Maintain accurate HR records, analyse case trends and produce management reports.
- Support HR projects, policy reviews, employee wellbeing initiatives and continuous improvement.
About You
- Proven experience in an HR Adviser or Employee Relations role.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
- Confident managing complex and confidential employee relations cases.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive approach, with the ability to influence and support managers at all levels.
