Full Stack AI Developer

The Opportunity

We are looking for a hands-on AI Developer to help accelerate the development of a growing AI product portfolio.

You will design and deliver production-ready AI capabilities using Azure OpenAI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), agentic workflows and intelligent document processing, integrating these into secure and scalable products built with C#, ASP.NET Core, Angular and Azure.

This role would suit an experienced Software Engineer with strong applied AI experience who has successfully taken AI solutions beyond proof of concept and into production.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build and deploy production AI solutions using Azure OpenAI, RAG, vector search and agentic workflows.
• Develop intelligent document processing solutions including document classification, data extraction, OCR and AI-assisted automation.
• Design grounding, prompting and orchestration approaches that deliver accurate and reliable outcomes.
• Establish evaluation, testing, monitoring and observability practices across AI solutions.
• Apply responsible AI, security and data governance principles throughout development.
• Build backend services, APIs and integrations using C# and ASP.NET Core.
• Develop user-facing functionality using Angular and TypeScript.
• Contribute to the development of secure, scalable Azure-based platforms.
• Work closely with technical specialists, subject-matter experts and product stakeholders.
• Contribute to code reviews, testing and continuous improvement.

Essential AI & Engineering Skills

• Commercial experience designing and delivering production AI solutions, not just prototypes.
• Strong practical experience with Azure OpenAI, including model integration and prompt engineering.
• Experience implementing RAG, embeddings and vector search.
• Experience with LangChain, LangGraph or similar agentic AI/orchestration frameworks.
• Knowledge of AI evaluation, testing and observability.
• Experience with Document Intelligence, OCR or automated data extraction.
• Understanding of AI governance, security, privacy and responsible AI.
• Strong commercial experience with C# and ASP.NET Core, including REST APIs.
• Strong TypeScript and Angular experience.
• Practical Azure experience including App Services, Functions, Service Bus, Key Vault, Storage Accounts and API Management.
• Experience with SQL databases, Agile delivery and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills, including the ability to explain AI design decisions and technical trade-offs.

The Candidate We’re Looking For

We’re looking for an AI-focused Software Engineer who can demonstrate real experience taking AI capabilities from concept through to secure, reliable production use.

You should be comfortable discussing solutions you have personally built, including model and framework choices, RAG and grounding approaches, agentic workflows, evaluation methods and technical trade-offs.

Strong full-stack engineering experience is essential, alongside genuine depth in applied AI development and a focus on using AI to solve real business problems.
