Job Title: Head of Solution & Platform Architecture
Location: London/Peterborough (Hybrid)
Contract: Permanent, Full Time
We're looking for a strategic and forward-thinking Head of Solution & Platform Architecture to shape the future architecture landscape across BTS. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring our platforms, services and technology capabilities operate as a connected ecosystem that delivers business value, exceptional user experiences and operational excellence. You'll work across BTS, Business Units and Enterprise Architecture to drive innovation, simplification and transformation.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead the Solution Architecture function across BTS.
- Define and govern end-to-end architecture strategies aligned to business priorities.
- Drive integrated solution design across cloud, infrastructure, networks, workplace technologies and digital platforms.
- Establish architecture standards, governance and best practices.
- Lead enterprise integration initiatives, promoting API-led and reusable service models.
- Partner with Enterprise Architecture to align roadmaps and technology strategies.
- Identify opportunities to simplify and standardise the technology landscape.
- Provide architectural leadership for major transformation programmes and strategic investments.
- Develop and lead a high-performing architecture team.
What You'll Bring
- Significant architecture leadership experience within large, complex organisations.
- Expertise designing end-to-end technology solutions across cloud, infrastructure, networking and workplace services.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies including Azure, Microsoft 365, Entra ID and Azure DevOps.
- Experience with ServiceNow and enterprise integration architectures.
- Proven ability to influence technology strategy and investment decisions.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to lead through collaboration and influence.
- Passion for innovation, continuous improvement and developing high-performing teams.
Location
Hybrid, a mix of office and homeworking with regular presence in our Peterborough and London locations.
