EDGE Innovate is growing, and we’re looking for a motivated Maintenance Assistant to join our team. This is an earn while you learn role, so you’ll get full training while working alongside an experienced team to keep our equipment and facilities running safely and smoothly. The role covers a broad range of disciplines, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. That makes it a great opportunity to build a well-rounded technical skill set and a long-term career in maintenance engineering.

What you’ll be doing

• Helping with planned and reactive maintenance on machinery and site equipment
• Helping to find and fix mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic faults
• Carrying out routine inspections, checks, and servicing
• Keeping accurate maintenance records
• Following all health and safety procedures

What we’re looking for

• Some mechanical experience, whether from work, an apprenticeship, college, or hands-on projects
• A real willingness to learn and develop new skills
• A practical, problem-solving attitude
• Reliability, good timekeeping, and the ability to work well in a team
