Midday Supervisor

Closing date: 15 November 2026

Staveley Junior School is looking to appoint an enthusiastic, hardworking individual to join our team of dedicated lunchtime support as soon as possible.

Applicants should have good verbal skills, be able to work as part of a team and be adaptable and flexible in their approach.

Duties include the supervision of children on the playground and to encourage interactive play, whilst also ensuring the welfare and safety of the pupils during lunchtime.

The school are very proud to be implementing the OPAL (Outdoor Play and Learning) scheme at lunchtimes so that children have the chance to engage in a wide variety of play activities. This involves a rolling risk assessment approach. Full training will be given. See the OPAL page on our website here: OPAL | STAVELEY JUNIOR SCHOOL

You will be joining a warm and friendly school with dedicated and supportive staff who work together as a team.

Visits are warmly welcomed and encouraged. Please contact the School Business Manager, Katie Westwood, on 01246 472 325 or katie.westwood@staveley.derbyshire.sch.uk to arrange your visit.
