The Role
As a Room Leader, you will
- Lead and motivate a team of early years professionals to deliver outstanding care and learning experiences.
- Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where children can develop and flourish.
- Plan and deliver engaging activities that support children's individual development and interests.
- Support, coach, and develop colleagues within your room.
- Build strong partnerships with parents and carers, ensuring excellent communication and support.
- Monitor children's progress through observations and assessments, helping them reach their full potential.
- Promote best practice and maintain high standards in line with EYFS requirements and Busy Bees' values.

About Busy Bees Chiswick Larden Road
Busy Bees Chiswick Larden Road is an Ofsted-rated Good nursery with space for up to 110 children. We provide a nurturing environment where children are encouraged to learn at their own pace through a blend of the EYFS framework and Montessori-inspired principles.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and execution of age-appropriate activities and curriculum in your room.
- Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment for children.
- Foster a high-performing team through supportive leadership and collaboration.
- Oversee the development and wellbeing of children, ensuring their progress is tracked and communicated with parents.
- Take on the role of Key Person, ensuring the holistic development and personal care needs of a group of children.
- Ensure health and safety standards are met, maintaining a clean and secure environment.
Ideal Candidate
- Level 3 qualification or above in early years education.
- Experience in an early years setting, with supervisory experience an advantage ideally as a Nursery Room Leader, Nursery Room Manager or Nursery Practitioner.
- Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
- Passionate about fostering children’s development and creating positive relationships with families.
