About The Role
We are seeking a motivated and driven Operations Area Leader to join our Frozen Packing department .Reporting to the Operations Team Lead, you will be responsible for managing production activities, leading teams, achieving production targets, and ensuring the highest standards of quality, food safety, and health & safety are maintained.
Location: Dungannon
Shift: Team B, 6:00am - 6:00pm (Rotating Shift Pattern)
Contract: Permanent Opportunity
Key Responsibilities.
- Lead and organise production operations to achieve packing plans and targets.
- Manage labour allocation and break schedules to maximise efficiency.
- Monitor line performance and drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure quality, hygiene, and food safety standards are maintained.
- Train and develop team members to meet operational requirements.
- Communicate effectively with production teams and management.
- Complete KPI reporting and lead daily performance meetings.
- Promote and maintain a strong health and safety culture.
What We're Looking For
- Good level of English and numeracy skills.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Minimum 12 months' experience within food manufacturing.
- Computer literate.
- Leadership qualities and the ability to motivate teams.
- Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
