Remote Capital Actuary

One of the biggest attractions of this role is the breadth of exposure across Capital Modelling, combined with a highly flexible approach to remote working. It would be particularly interesting for a qualified GI Actuary who wants to remain technically hands-on while gaining greater exposure to senior stakeholders and strategic decision-making.

The role sits within an established Capital Modelling team; the team uses Igloo and there’s also a strong business-facing element to the position. You’ll translate complex modelling outputs into insights for senior stakeholders, committees and regulators, while supporting and mentoring more junior actuaries within the team.

There’s a good balance between technical Capital work and understanding how modelling outputs influence wider business decisions, with the opportunity to help shape and develop the Internal Model rather than purely running an established process.

They’re particularly interested in candidates who are:

• Qualified GI Actuaries with over 5 years of Capital Modelling experience
• Strong communicators who are comfortable working with senior stakeholders and mentoring junior team members

The position also offers a highly flexible approach to working, with the ability to work remotely for the significant majority of the time.
