Senior Product Manager - AI-Enabled Product & Operations

Licensed sponsor United Kingdom Full-time Posted 2 days ago

We're looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager to lead an outcome-focused roadmap across two delivery squads and help shape the future of our digital healthcare platform.

Salary: £70,000-£85,000 per annum, depending on experience.

This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on delivery. You'll work across product, engineering, operations, clinical teams and customer-facing functions to identify the highest-value opportunities, translate them into clear priorities, and ensure they deliver meaningful results for our customers, partners and business.

You'll have significant ownership of your area, while working closely with the executive team and colleagues across the business to shape products and services used by thousands of patients every month.

About Blueco Healthcare

Blueco Healthcare is a digital-first healthcare and pharmacy infrastructure business based in Preston, with a specialist focus in weight management.

We provide the regulated infrastructure behind some of the UK's most prominent digital health brands, offering prescribing, dispensing, fulfilment, cold-chain logistics, patient support and deep API integration across NHS programmes, private healthcare, insurance and pharmaceutical manufacturer partnerships.

Our pharmacy, Onescript (https://onescript.co.uk), processes tens of thousands of medications every month. With significant growth already contracted, we are targeting approximately fourfold growth over the next year and continue to invest in the technology, processes and people needed to support that ambition.

The Role

You'll take end-to-end ownership of an outcome based roadmap spanning two delivery squads and multiple areas of our digital estate. Your focus will be on improving three key outcomes:

1. Operational Efficiency & Scalability - Helping more patients, more efficiently, while maintaining quality, safety and service standards.

2. Exceptional Client Experience - Helping partners work with us smoothly and successfully, through better workflows, clearer processes, reliable delivery and continuous improvement.

3. Seamless Onboarding - Ensuring new partners can launch smoothly and quickly as the business continues to grow.

You'll work closely with the executive team and play a leading role in determining priorities, balancing competing demands and making informed decisions about where investment will have the greatest impact. While strong communication and stakeholder management are important, success in this role comes from turning insight into action, making thoughtful product decisions and delivering measurable outcomes.

What You'll Do

Lead the Roadmap

Develop and continuously refine a single roadmap across both squads, balancing short-term delivery with longer-term priorities and clearly linking activity to business outcomes.

Drive Prioritisation

Use data, customer insight, operational performance and strategic objectives to determine what should be worked on next, where investment should be focused and where opportunities should be better pursued later.

Understand the Problems That Matter

Develop a deep understanding of our customers, partners and operational teams by working closely with colleagues across commercial, service, clinical and operational functions. Explore processes, workflows and pain points, identify opportunities for improvement, and translate complex or ambiguous challenges into clear, prioritised product initiatives with measurable outcomes. You should be comfortable moving at pace, quickly turning insights into practical recommendations, product requirements and delivery priorities.

Improve End-to-End Journeys

Identify opportunities to improve experiences that span multiple systems and teams, focusing on usability, quality, efficiency and customer outcomes.

Deliver Incrementally

Work with engineering, data, operations and client-facing teams to define the MVP, bring improvements to market quickly and learn from real-world outcomes. Focus on delivering the right level of solution for the problem at hand, avoiding unnecessary complexity while ensuring releases are complete, valuable and ready for adoption.

Explore the Potential of AI

Identify opportunities where automation, AI and emerging technologies can create value for customers, partners and internal teams. Use AI tools to support discovery, analysis, prototyping and product development activities.

Measure Impact

Define success measures for initiatives before they begin, evaluate outcomes after launch and use evidence to guide future priorities and investment decisions. Be prepared to build on what is working and redirect effort away from initiatives that are not delivering the expected value.

Facilitate Effective Decision-Making

Lead a regular prioritisation and roadmap cadence involving executive stakeholders, engineering and business leaders, ensuring decisions are informed, timely and aligned.

Balance Innovation and Risk

Work with appropriate stakeholders to ensure product decisions appropriately consider GDPR, privacy, patient safety and regulatory requirements while maintaining momentum.

What You'll Bring

  • Product Management Expertise: Significant experience managing web-based B2B products, including ownership of roadmaps spanning multiple teams or product areas.
  • A Data-Informed Approach: A track record of improving meaningful customer, operational or commercial metrics, and the ability to explain the decisions and learning behind those results.
  • AI Fluency: Experience delivering AI-enabled features, automation or workflow improvements, alongside regular use of AI tools within your own product practice. You're comfortable using AI to accelerate discovery, analysis and rapid prototyping, creating testable solutions before committing engineering resources. You understand both the opportunities and limitations of AI and apply sound judgement when balancing innovation, risk and practicality.
  • Strong Prioritisation Skills: The ability to balance competing requests, evaluate trade-offs and make clear, well-reasoned decisions.
  • Comfort in a Fast-Growing Environment: Confidence moving between strategic and detailed thinking, adapting to new information and maintaining focus in a changing environment.
  • Commercial Acumen: You understand the commercial drivers behind product decisions, including margin, retention, cost-to-serve and scalability. You use these considerations, alongside customer and operational outcomes, to make informed prioritisation decisions.
  • Data Literacy: You enjoy working with data and are comfortable investigating performance metrics, identifying trends and answering questions yourself. You use evidence to shape decisions and aren't afraid to get hands-on with the numbers.
  • Sound Judgement: A practical understanding of risk, privacy and governance considerations, with the ability to apply them proportionately.
  • Collaborative Influence: Experience working effectively with senior stakeholders, building alignment and constructively challenging assumptions when evidence suggests a different approach.

Nice to Have

  • Experience within healthcare, pharmacy, life sciences or another regulated environment.
  • Experience working with both internal product teams and external delivery partners.
  • Experience working in a high-growth environment where you've helped the business grow while maintaining operational efficiency, service quality and delivery standards.
  • Exposure to clinical safety, information governance or similar regulatory frameworks.
