Structural Technicians (Project + Senior)

Who we are looking for.

Please note: we’re not box tickers here at Hexa. The below is indicative – if you don’t meet every item, don’t be put off. • Minimum 2 years’ experience, ideally in a multi-disciplinary consultancy environment
• Experience producing detailed structural drawing packs suitable for various project stages from concept design to construction
• Ability to produce accurate model geometry using Revit from which drawing content is produced. This is an essential
• AutoCAD experience – sparingly used however still necessary from time to time
• Ability to work to projects standards including BEP’s and EIR’s
• Experience, or interest and willingness to contribute towards data delivery
• Experience working across a variety of sectors
• Experience collaborating closely with engineers, clients and design teams to ensure coordinated and efficient design solutions
• Assist in the development and maintenance of BIM standards and workflows
• Experience delivering projects in reinforced concrete and steel
• Experience in refurbishment/remodelling of existing structures
• Independently delivers project information, attends meetings and site visits where required, effectively managing your own time and consistently meeting deadlines
• Willingness to work to company processes, procedures and ISO9001 standards.
• Capably delegates tasks and oversees junior team members
• Willingness to mentor and impart knowledge to junior team members
• Willingness to work towards EngTech MICE chartership
• Can travel to Sheffield, full UK driving licence
• Motivated to deliver exceptional service to our clients
• Demonstrates a strong commitment to participating in CSR activities, engaging in continuous professional development (CPD), and/or contributing to business development and other business operations
• Are self-driven, pro-active and positive with an ability to ‘own it’ and problem solve
