Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Technical Architect with strong expertise in the Banking and Financial Services domain to lead the design and implementation of enterprise-grade technology solutions. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise across application architecture, cloud technologies, integration platforms, and banking systems while ensuring solutions align with business and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Solution Design

Define and govern application architecture standards, frameworks, and best practices.
Design scalable, secure, resilient, and high-performance banking applications.
Create High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents.
Drive modernization and transformation initiatives across banking platforms.
Ensure adherence to enterprise architecture and security standards.

Technical Leadership

Provide technical leadership to development, QA, DevOps, and support teams.
Review code, architecture designs, and implementation approaches.
Mentor engineering teams and promote engineering excellence.
Conduct architecture reviews and technical governance sessions.

Integration & Cloud Architecture

Design API-based, event-driven, and microservices architectures.
Define integration patterns between core banking systems and external applications.
Lead cloud adoption and migration strategies.
Develop reusable architecture components and frameworks.

Required Banking Domain Experience

Strong understanding of banking business processes and technologies.
Experience working within one or more areas:
Retail Banking
Commercial Banking
Corporate Banking
Payments and Cards
Digital Banking
Lending and Mortgages
Treasury
Regulatory Reporting
Exposure to banking regulations, KYC, AML, PSD2, Open Banking, GDPR, or equivalent regulatory frameworks.
