Job Description

Chemonics UK is seeking Technical Leads to provide strategic technical direction of large, multi-country Technical Assistance Facility, ensuring interventions are evidence-based, technically robust and aligned with programme objectives of economic development, trade, investment and inclusive growth.

This is an opportunity for a senior economic development professional to shape high-impact interventions, engage with FCDO teams and delivery partners, and ensure technical excellence across a diverse portfolio.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Provide overarching technical oversight and direction
  • Opportunity assessment and technical triage
  • Intervention design / ToR development in collaboration with other specialists
  • QA of technical deliverables in collaboration with other specialists
  • Support for knowledge management and learning
  • Engagement with FCDO posts and teams

About You

You will have substantial experience delivering economic development programmes, advising governments and private sector stakeholders, and working in complex international environments. Experience supporting FCDO funded programmes is highly desirable.

Compensation Range

An employee's pay position will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs.

Overtime exemption status may change due to state regulatory requirements.
