Mission

To maintain all on-site Injection Moulding, Vacuum Forming and Punch Tools and Hot Runners in line with the PM system. To make independent decisions on Tooling problem solving

Responsibilities

• Ensure that the Standards of the Tooling Department are sustained, with regards to Equipment, and Workshop area(s) and Machinery Audits/Checks.
• Attend Tooling breakdowns and repair in a timely manner.
• Ensure that all TPM's are completed to a high standard and in a timely manner, as per the set schedule.
• All Tooling, Plant and associated Equipment is kept in a clean, tidy and a service-able state.
• Completion of Company documentation in its entirety and in a timely manner (SSI/Handovers).
• Comply with the Spares tracking process.
• Continuous Improvement projects.
• Provide support as required to other Engineering Disciplines.

For our Tooling Technician, we are looking for

• Time served Toolmaker Apprenticeship within a Automotive Manufacturing Environment.
• Experience with Injection Mould Tooling.
• Hot Runner familiarity.
• Punch Tooling.
• Vacuum Forming.
• Workshop Machinery (Lathe/Miller/Surface Grinder/Hand Tools).
• Injection Moulding Process/Troubleshooting.
• Jigs and fixtures.
• TIG/ARC/MIG Welding desirable, also Laser Welding.
• Crane License (35t)
