Transformation Service Manager - Specialist Surgery
We are seeking a Transformation Service Manager to join our Directorate Management Team and play a key role in delivering high‑quality, patient‑focused care.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong organisational, communication and project management skills to lead service improvement, support operational delivery, and drive forward key transformation priorities within a fast‑paced clinical environment.
About The Role
Working closely with the Clinical Director, Directorate Manager, Deputy Directorate Manager and Matrons, you will provide visible leadership and take responsibility for ensuring high‑quality operational performance across designated clinical service areas. You will support day‑to‑day service delivery while also leading critical workstreams that improve access, efficiency and patient experience.
We are looking for an adaptable and proactive manager who thrives in a complex environment and can confidently navigate competing priorities. You will need to be able to communicate highly complex and sensitive information, influence change across professional boundaries, and foster collaborative working with clinical and non‑clinical teams.
You will be resilient under pressure, able to manage emerging operational challenges, and committed to promoting a positive culture aligned with the Trust’s values. Strong project management skills, excellent judgement, and the ability to lead, motivate and develop staff are essential.
