Assistant Headteacher (SENCO)
Danetree Primary School is seeking an inspiring and dedicated Assistant Headteacher (SENCO) to join their ambitious leadership team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader with a passion for inclusion and SEND to play a key role in shaping whole-school improvement and ensuring every child achieves their potential.
Your Opportunity
As Assistant Headteacher and SENCO, you will work closely with the Headteacher and senior leaders to drive high standards of teaching, learning and inclusive practice. You will lead SEND provision across the school, support staff development, and contribute strategically to the school's continued success.
This role is ideal for an ambitious leader who is committed to improving outcomes for all pupils and making a lasting impact within a supportive and values-driven Multi Academy Trust.
What We're Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and leadership experience.
- A strong understanding of the SEND Code of Practice and inclusive education.
- A proven ability to raise standards and drive school improvement.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding, inclusion and pupil wellbeing.
- The National Award for SEN Coordination (or willingness to work towards it).
