Business Analyst

Payments sits at the heart of what we do at Zempler Bank, and we’re looking for an experienced Payments Business Analyst to join us at an exciting time of change and growth.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role working closely with Product, Technology and Operations to help deliver key initiatives across our domestic and international payments landscape.

What you’ll be doing
- Turning complex business needs into clear requirements, user stories and deliverable solutions
- Working closely with Product Owners, Engineers and QA throughout the delivery lifecycle
- Supporting initiatives across SWIFT, SEPA, Faster Payments, Bacs and cards
- Translating technical documentation, including APIs, XML and payment scheme specifications
- Supporting testing and UAT to make sure solutions work for our customers and business
- Collaborating across Product, Tech, Operations and Finance to get things done
You’ll ideally bring
- Strong Business Analyst experience within financial services/payments
- Hands-on knowledge of international and cross-border payments, including SWIFT and/or SEPA
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments
- Confidence working with technical requirements, APIs and integrations
- Knowledge of UK payment schemes such as Faster Payments, Bacs and cards
- Great stakeholder skills and a practical, proactive approach to problem-solving
- Knowledge of areas such as PSD2, PCI DSS, CBPR+ or Open APIs would be a bonus, but isn’t essential.
