Materials Controller

To undertake works in connection with the issuing of stores items and the
maintenance of stock which includes;
Control and maintenance of stock levels in the main stores.
Control and maintenance of stock levels in the engineers vans
Managing and recording goods inwards / outwards.
Taking delivery of goods with the occasional use of a forklift.
Ensuring that goods are checked in and accurate in a timely manner.
Checking for damages and correct quantities.
Putting items away in storeroom after delivery on a first in, first out basis.
Putting together service kits and dispatch to SHL engineers.
Managing quarantined items and returns.
Creation of stock purchase orders.
Updating GRN's on Stock control / purchasing system.
Verifying stock levels and re-ordering levels.
Recording stock movements / transfers on stock control system.
Managing stock control system.
Carrying out regular stores stock checks.
Assisting with engineer van stock checks
Ensuring stores and workshop are kept clean and tidy.
Maintaining asset registers for tools and PPE.
Ensure Workplace H&S compliance at all times.
Other such duties as may be required from time to time.
