Role Overview
We're looking for an experienced Solutions Director to join Bellrock Group and play a key role in driving business growth across our Facilities Management, Property and Integrator services. Working closely with our Growth, Bid and Operational teams, you'll take the lead in developing innovative, technology-led solutions, managing framework opportunities and securing new business across both the public and private sectors.
This is a highly visible, commercially focused role where you'll build relationships with senior stakeholders, develop compelling client propositions and help shape how we deliver services to our customers. We're looking for someone who understands the FM and property services market, has a strong track record in business development and enjoys turning complex customer requirements into successful solutions.
We're particularly interested in candidates who have experience working with local authorities and councils, with a strong understanding of public sector procurement, frameworks and the development of FM and property solutions for local government clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive business growth by identifying new opportunities, developing existing customer relationships and securing new contracts across the FM and property services sectors.
- Lead the design and development of innovative, technology-led FM, Property and Integrator solutions tailored to customer requirements.
- Manage public and private sector framework opportunities, supporting successful tender submissions and maintaining strategic framework positions.
- Work closely with Bid, Growth and Operational teams to develop competitive proposals, ensuring solutions are commercially attractive and operationally deliverable.
- Lead client meetings, presentations and negotiations, demonstrating Bellrock's capabilities and building strong relationships with prospective customers.
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities, ensuring accurate reporting and activity tracking through HubSpot CRM.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs and opportunities for growth.
- Manage tender processes and ITT submissions, coordinating internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality responses within agreed deadlines.
- Build strategic partnerships and represent Bellrock at industry events, conferences and networking opportunities.
- Lead contract renewal activity for selected strategic accounts, identifying opportunities to strengthen relationships and improve customer retention.
- Work collaboratively across the business to ensure a smooth transition from solution design and bid development through to mobilisation.
- Contribute to marketing and thought leadership initiatives, helping raise awareness of Bellrock's services and capabilities.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in business development, solutions design or a similar commercially focused role within Facilities Management, Property or related services.
- Essential experience working with UK local authorities or councils, particularly in developing, bidding for and securing FM or property services contracts.
- Strong understanding of local government procurement processes, public sector frameworks and tendering requirements.
- A successful track record of securing new business, achieving revenue targets and building long-term customer relationships.
- Experience developing commercially viable, technology-led FM and property solutions tailored to customer needs.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to engage and influence senior decision-makers.
- Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to identify opportunities, develop competitive proposals and manage complex bids.
- Experience working collaboratively with Bid, Operational and Commercial teams to deliver successful outcomes.
- Good knowledge of the UK Facilities Management, Property and Integrator markets.
- Confident using CRM systems, ideally HubSpot, alongside sales reporting and analytics tools.
- A proactive, self-motivated approach, with an interest in emerging technologies and AI to support business growth.
AI fluency & learning mindset: We are looking for people who actively use AI in their day‑to‑day work, demonstrate strong curiosity about new technologies, and take ownership for continuously improving how they think, work, and deliver.
